D-list comedian Kathy Griffin encapsulates the left’s utter hypocrisy and chronic victim mentality.
That’s what Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson observed while discussing Griffin’s crocodile tears at a press conference this week.

Griffin was widely slammed after a failed PR stunt where she held up a likeness of President Donald Trump’s bloodied, severed head like an ISIS terrorist.
When she didn’t get the positive response she had hoped for, Griffin played the victim, claiming she was being bullied by the Trump family, who understandably expressed outrage at her disturbing stunt.
At a press conference Friday with attorney Lisa Bloom, Kathy Griffin pretended to cry (no tears came out of her eyes) while blaming Trump and misogyny for the widespread backlash she has experienced. “I’m not afraid of Donald Trump,” Griffin said. “He’s a bully. I’ve dealt with older, white guys trying to keep me down my whole life, my whole career.”
Griffin claims she has received multiple death threats (perhaps similar to the kind she issued against Trump) and has been harassed online by countless women and men who were disgusted by her antics.
In addition to being fired from her CNN New Year’s Eve hosting gig, Griffin lost an endorsement with Squatty Potty, and her remaining summer comedy tour gigs have been cancelled.

Rather than take responsibility for her wrongdoing, Tucker Carlson said Griffin is taking a page straight out of the left’s playbook:
She’s the perfect embodiment of what the modern left believes. Griffin publicly fantasizes about violently murdering the president, yet she holds a press conference to announce she’s the one who’s been wronged.
Carlson said Griffin’s comments aren’t surprising because liberals ALWAYS play the victim. It’s a way to avoid accountability for offensive things they say and do while shilling for public sympathy after they caught doing something wrong.
“The most remarkable thing about victimhood is that it allows the alleged victims to commit the very offenses they are complaining about,” Tucker said. “Victimhood has more benefits, it turns out, than AAA. And it’s free. It means never having to say you’re sorry. It also means being ‘right,’ even when you’re wrong.”
Many Twitter users agreed, saying Griffin’s tone-deaf, self-pitying press conference will only ensure that even more people will turn against her.
I'm fascinated by the mentality of someone who holds up a severed head of another person and then claims to be a victim.

The only thing #KathyGriffin is a victim of is her own ignorance. 24 hours from fake apology to victim status is impressive by any standard!

Some remembered how Griffin gleefully vowed to bully and “beat down” 11-year-old Barron Trump in a December 2016 interview:

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee perfectly summed up the current public sentiment:
Note to Kathy Griffin: it wasn't "old white men" that ruined your career. It was ONE OLD WHITE WOMAN. Look in the mirror to see who she is.
