Hustler’s new cover defies Islam with hijab and underboob, but was the American flag too much?

*Strong Language Warning

The 43rd-anniversary issue of Hustler magazine is controversial.

The cover of the men’s magazine features a woman, wrapped in an American flag hijab, lifted up just enough to expose part of her breast.

Underneath the woman are the words “Freedom First.”

The magazine’s publisher, Larry Flynt, defended the decision to use that photo as the cover of the magazine’s milestone issue.

“The Hustler Anniversary Issue is an irreverent political statement against the taboos of repression,” he told Fox News.

Responses on social media varied between those who found it disrespectful and others who found it defiant in the face of radical Islam.
