A street in the Ukraine erupted, sending water and debris cascading on to passersby.
The stunning explosion was caught on surveillance cameras as it rocked the Kiev neighborhood.
Video showed a woman being hit with rubble as she walked by. Vehicles in the vicinity were also heavily damaged.
“The burst pipe created a fountain that was seven stories high,” witness Olexandr Gusev said, according to the Sun.
The explosion happened when a high-pressured water pipe, used to bring hot water to housing, burst, according to the Sun.
Thankfully the water was not heated because officials were conducting tests.
The city said it is going to compensate those affected by the pipe explosion, according to the Mirror.
