Megyn Kelly promotes her upcoming gig with ‘five things’; ex-fans only need one finger to respond

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly revealed the “five things” she wanted to tell her fans before her new show debuts on NBC.

In a video posted on social media Kelly listed them as she teased her new show, ‘”Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly,” coming to NBC on June 4.

“Number one. I’ve missed you and this,” the 46-year-old said.

“Two. As you may have heard I’ve joined NBC news and we’re getting ready to launch a primetime news magazine show in June,” she said.

“Three. You will laugh and you will cry,” she said. “You’re gonna feel some outrage, you’re gonna feel some inspiration. And we hope you find us must see TV.”

“Four. The incredible journalists here at NBC News, and yours truly, will be bringing you, really, the stories of our time.”

“Five,” she concluded. “These are the stories that really need to be told and in many cases aren’t, and we can’t wait to share them all with you.”

Kelly said she was “home, enjoying some time off in between jobs for a while, spending some time with my kids, which was awesome.”

The anchor is reportedly making $20 million per year to host the new show.

Her guests have not been officially announced, but reports suggest that among her first guests are Russian President Vladimir Putin and former ESPN, and current Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews, according to The Hill.

The show will air for the summer and then take a break during football season. It is scheduled to return again after February’s Winter Olympics.

Kelly is also scheduled to add to NBC News’ political reporting and will host a daily morning show starting in the fall.

There were rumors of tensions between Kelly and “Today” host Matt Lauer when the former Fox News anchor arrived at the beginning of May.

Sources said Lauer was so disliked that some of the staff was itching to work with Kelly to get away from him, Radar Online reported.

“It was almost embarrassing!” a source told Radar. “Matt had no idea how much he was disliked until he saw how many people wanted to get away from him.”

“Some producers want to move because they are excited by working with Megyn,” the source said. “but it seems like most of them signed up just to get away from Matt.”

Responses on social media to Kelly’s return varied.
