Katie Hopkins FIRED from radio gig when leftist hysteria over anti-terror tweet spins out of control

Outspoken anti-radical Islam columnist Katie Hopkins has been fired from her radio job after she sent a tweet proposing a “final solution” to the terrorism threat.

Hopkin’s was rightly enraged that jihadist was allowed to blow up innocent parents and children at a pop concert in Manchester, England Monday night. As someone who has not apologized for her tough stance on massive migrant influxes into Europe, Hopkins was horrified by the attack.

Her tweet did not sit well with those who see Hopkins as the enemy, and jumped at the opportunity to spin her words into something sinister.

London writer, Nicke Cohen helped get the anti-Hopkins’ ball rolling stateing her “final solution” call could only mean one thing… “ethnic cleansing.”

Overreaction, you say?

Not for his followers, who ate it up.

Flooded with hateful backlash, Hopkins could see where this was heading and deleted the tweet with a new one:

22 dead – number rising. Schofield. Don’t you even dare. Do not be part of the problem. We need a true solution. #ManchesterArena

But it did little to quell the outrage from those that wanted to believe Hopkins was referring to the Nazi attempt to exterminate Jewish people.

It also prompted calls to the police because “hate speech” is a crime in England.

Eventually, it led to her employer, Leading Britain’s Conversation, terminating its relationship with her.

“LBC and Katie Hopkins have agreed that Katie will leave LBC effective immediately,” the station wrote in a statement, The Guardian reported.

The firing came, even after Hopkins explained her tweet on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Tuesday.

“Certain thoughts you’re just now allowed to have,” Hopkins began. “We need to be deporting these people…. We need to be able to talk like that.”

“I absolutely accept (that) words matter (and) I used the words ‘final solution’ in a tweet and I would not in any way want to use that term and the inference other people lay on that,” she said. “What I meant was we need a lasting solution, a resolution to this.”

On Friday, shortly after news broke of her firing, Hopkins tweeted that she had a big announcement coming next week.

Following the announcement of Hopkins firing, fellow activist Tommy Robinson called on people to delete the LBC app from their phones.

He was far from the only person angered by the termination.
