Laura Ingraham sums up state of American media in one daunting, infuriating and truthful tweet

Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham nailed the problem with the selective outrage of the left on Thursday in a tweet that got people talking.

Ingraham, a Fox News contributer, was referring to a new blockbuster report that showed the Obama administration’s NSA conducted massive spying on American citizens without warrants from Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, according to Circa News.

The FISA courts released top secret documents that showed the government knew the NSA was violating surveillance rules frequently.

Judge Andrew Napolitano was outraged by the fact that the media pulled a major blackout on the report.

“It’s astounding that there’s not a lot of outrage,” he said on Fox News’ “Special Report” on Thursday.

“NSA has been doing massive amounts of spying, surveilling, capturing every keystroke on every iPhone and every desktop and every phone call and all fiber optic cable in the United States that they can, without telling the FISA court about it,” Napolitano said.

He said that hundreds of millions of Americans might have been spied on and said it’s a “profound violation of the Fourth Amendment.”

Fellow panelist Jonah Goldberg, a senior editor for the National Review, called out the hypocrisy of the left-wing media.

“If this had happened under George W. Bush, the New York Times would be out there, the editors would be pouring jerrycans of gasoline over themselves, setting themselves on fire and protesting,” he said. “The ACLU would be out there rioting.”

Though he contended that he believes the political right wouldn’t be as angry if it happened under a Republican president.

Ingraham’s fans agreed.
