It’s no secret that the liberal media, particularly CNN, hates President Trump and his supporters. But sometimes their utter disgust burst through the professional veneer and bares its teeth in ever-disgusting ways, if only for an instant.
On Friday night’s edition of Anderson Cooper 360, the CNN host just let his true feelings slip while interviewing conservative commentator and Trump supporter Jeffrey Lord.
While discussing President Trump’s quite accurate portrayal of former F.B.I. Director James Comey as a “nut job,” Cooper interrupted Lord’s commentary with a crude scatological reference:
“If Trump took a dump on his desk, you would defend it,” Cooper said.
After a second of hesitation, the panel laughed awkwardly before Cooper continued.
“I mean, I don’t know what he would do that you would not defend,” the CNN host told Lord. “I mean, you’re a loyal guy, I think that speaks well of you.”

According to the Examiner, Cooper later apologized to Lord for being “a little crude.”
“I like having your voice on here and I think you’re an important voice to have, so I’m sorry I was a little crude. And you defend the president very well, and that’s your job,” Cooper said.

Several Twitter users quickly had a little fun at Cooper’s expense:

Anderson Cooper- Thoughts on Donald Trump taking a dump on his desk?

OK even from a lib, that last one was pretty funny.
Cooper covered his transgression with a later tweet that said: “I regret the crude sentence i spoke earlier tonight and followed it up by apologizing on air. It was unprofessional. I am genuinely sorry.”
