Apparently time does not heal all wounds.
Melissa Harris-Perry still seems a bit angry at MSNBC, firing off a blistering email accusing her former network’s vice president of hiding behind “white boys” while she “systematically fired, dismissed and gaslit black folk.”

The former MSNBC host blasted the National Association of Black Journalists when it announced it would honor MSNBC’s senior vice president of talent and diversity, Yvette Miley, according to Page Six.
“Miley was early in identifying the significance of the Black Lives Matter movement, the impact on the shooting of Trayvon Martin and the unrest in Ferguson,” the organization announced.
“You MUST be kidding right? She is the one who identified Trayvon Martin’s importance?” Harris-Perry fired off in a scathing email to the NABJ.
“Where is the part where she systematically fired, dismissed and gaslit black folk in national media while hiding behind the white boys at MSNBC?” she continued. “Please remove me from the NABJ mailing list.”
Harris-Perry’s public break-up with MSNBC last year followed her tantrum over having her show pre-empted by election coverage. She played the race card, declaring she would not be used as a”token, mammy, or little brown bobble head,” as she boycotted her own show to lash out at MSNBC before being fired.
