Lib media members outdo each other with deranged Roger Ailes attacks, but it does yield some surprises

On Thursday former Fox News chair Roger Ailes died and it in the blink of an eye the liberal media started dancing on his grave.

The Huffington Post ran the headline “groper gone” to mark the passing of the man who built Fox News.

Then there was MSNBC’s Chris Matthews and Joe Scarborough who used the opportunity to brag about his network’s recent ratings wins.

“You look at Roger Ailes’ life — and you look at all of his successes — and I’m reminded of Joe Paterno,” the show’s host, Scarborough said, “a man that America loved and respected and looked up to for years. And I know, certainly, not all of America loved Roger Ailes. He was a very divisive figure. But I can tell you, conservatives were thankful for him.”

“Right now, Fox News is an absolute mess,” he said. “We talked about this earlier in passing. Roger Ailes gone for, what, maybe six months, a year — and for first time this century, they aren’t in first place. In fact, for the first time this century, they are in third place.”

“Rachel (Maddow) beats them every night,” Matthews added.

Neither mentioned the fact that Fox News has been curb stomping MSNBC in the ratings for years until the recent firing of Bill O’Reilly and the reorganization of its primetime schedule.

Others were even more brutal and heartless.

There were also some surprises on the left from people one might not expect to say nice things about the former head of Fox News.
