Cuomo fumes that no Republicans will appear on CNN … is the GOP finally wise to the network’s agenda?

Chris Cuomo, the “chained lunatic” who hosts CNN’s “New Day,” whined that he could not get a single member of Republican leadership to appear on Monday’s show to talk about the firing of former FBI director James Comey… keeping in mind that President Donald Trump fired Comey 6 days ago.

But is that a sign Republicans have finally awoken to the fact that they’re not going to get a fair shake on a network that appears to be locked in death battle with Trump?

“It is a pickle the president has put his party in here,” Cuomo claimed. “But that’s what leadership is about, right? If you choose to ignore, you are in effect empowering whatever you ignore.”

Convinced they’ve stumbled on the next Watergate, the media continues to shake the bushes, but it’s worth mentioning that Trump denounced the entire “CNN platform” of hate recently, singling Cuomo out.

“CNN in the morning, Chris Cuomo, he’s sitting there like a chained lunatic,” Trump reportedly said last Monday during an “on the record” dinner with several members of the media. “He’s like a boiler ready to explode, the level of hatred.”

The disdain evident when David Gregory pushed the narrative that Trump “tried to get [Comey] to pledge loyalty” — never mind that White House press secretary Sean Spicer refuted that claim, clarifying that the president wanted “loyalty to this country and to the rule of law.”

Then again, when the commander in chief is referred to as “the devil,” as panelist David Drucker did in suggesting that Republicans may be afraid of Trump, the agenda seems clear.

“If you’ve already made your deal with the devil, so to speak,” he said, “you’re thinking to yourself, ‘If I let this devolve into a food fight, I get nothing.'”
