Black confederacy supporters square off against Antifa thugs, and there’s about to be a showdown

A showdown is coming to New Orleans between the terrorists of Antifa and pro-Confederacy activists.

Protests and counter protests around New Orleans’ Jefferson Davis monument began getting heated on Monday and have continued, the New Orleans Advocate reported.

Leftists, who want the statue to be the latest victim in a series of monuments that the city has torn down in an attempt to erase the Confederacy, have clashed with supporters of Confederate history, including an African-American group known as Black Rebel.

The Black Rebel group set out a request for help from like minded individuals to help them defend the monument on Sunday when it is rumored Antifa thugs will come with chains and trucks to pull down the monument.

“We can’t even get any support from the police,” a member of the club said. “They refuse to do any reports when we’re getting attacked by these Antifa punks, thugs, whatever you want to call them.”

He said that the Antifa group threatened them not to show up because they would attack.

“We’re not going to be intimidated,” he said. “This is something we are going to continue to fight for.”

The New Conservative Patriot Movement called for more defenders to come to New Orleans to help.

“We’ve got to put a stop to this. We’ve gotta quit playing nice. We’ve got to pull the gloves off. We’re going to have to get dirty,” a representative of the group said.

“The confederacy is a fact of the south. It ain’t never going to go away,” he said. “Tearing down monuments is not going to make it go away.”
