And now, in other breaking news…
Kanye West’s social media followers were shocked and bewildered by the rap star’s sudden deletion of his Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Perhaps the rapper is cleaning his social media profile in anticipation on his supposed 2020 presidential bid, but so far no explanations have surfaced for the mystery.

West’s wife, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, still retains her Twitter account where she has over 51 million followers. She tweeted about her and her husband’s children’s clothing line shortly after West’s account disappeared.

According to the U.K.’s Independent:
Some have expressed concern that Kanye’s decision might be related to him ending his Saint Pablo tour early last November.
He had accused fellow rapper Jay-Z of trying to kill him and walked off stage after announcing he would vote for Donald Trump.
He was subsequently hospitalised in Los Angeles with what doctors referred to as “temporary psychosis” and 23 dates were cancelled.
While some may question why anyone even cares what the 39 year-old does with his social media accounts, his over 27 million Twitter followers would beg to differ. They loyally followed his tweets on topics from fashion to music to politics.
His controversial, often head-scratching tweets might be missed though, even by those who followed along for the sheer entertainment of watching the internet explode.
Back in February 2016, he set heads spinning when he tweeted “BILL COSBY INNOCENT” and later the same month, requested $1 billion from Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg to help him with his staggering $53 million debt. He caused a near riot in New York City last June when he tweeted about a secret concert being sold out and his meeting with then President-elect Trump at the end of 2016 caused liberals to have a meltdown.
The rap superstar had been more quiet on his Twitter recently, however. He had also reportedly increased security at his home, where he lives with his wife and two children, following Kardashian’s robbery experience last year. The 36 year-old actress and model was robbed of millions of dollars in jewelry at gunpoint in Paris.
While the disappearance of West’s social media accounts may have been earth-shattering news for some of his fans, many Twitter users found a new reason to celebrate.
