Talk about drama! Celeb fearmongering over healthcare vote is nothing short of Oscar worthy

On Thursday, House Republicans finally kept their promise to the American people by passing a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare. The narrow vote was 217-213 and, while House passage is only the first step in the process, it represents a major legislative victory for President Trump, especially considering the same chamber’s much-publicized March failure.

As would be expected with something of this magnitude, not everyone was happy. No Democrats voted for the bill, 20 Republicans voted against it, and yeah, plenty of left-wing celebrities went completely ape-sh*t.

Dear Congressional Republicans: Patton Oswalt, Sarah Silverman, George Takei and Mark Ruffalo, among others, are quite upset, so could you please consider pulling back the bill?

I mean, look at how passionate they are…

Don’t you get it, people are gonna freaking DIE!

Yeah, that’s what Republicans want to do, make people lose their health insurance! Like millions weren’t about to lose it anyway under the collapsing Obamacare system.

Yep, that’s EXACTLY what we voted for. Is the bill perfect? No, but anything has got to be better than what we have right now.

Is that a veiled threat, Mr. Sulu?

Ugh, it’s gonna be ugly!

At least there were some saner voices out there trying to put it all in perspective.
