Comey: ‘Somehow’ Hillary Clinton’s classified emails were forwarded to Anthony Weiner’s computer

FBI Director James Comey is currently testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee, just one day after Hillary Clinton blamed him again for ruining her chances of winning the 2016 presidential election.

When Comey decided to reopen the investigation into Clinton just ten days before the election, many refused to believe that classified emails were sent from Clinton’s private email server to Anthony Weiner’s laptop.

Did Comey find classified emails on Anthony Weiner’s computer that were sent from Hillary Clinton? Yes.

Comey testified on Wednesday that the FBI found classified emails that were forwarded from Clinton’s email address by Huma Abedin — Clinton’s long time aide and most trusted confidant — to Weiner’s laptop.

It is also important to highlight that there are still three months worth of emails that are currently missing. Those emails were sent and received by Clinton on her Verizon BlackBerry, and federal authorities believe that they may have been sent to Weiner’s computer, as well.

Comey’s testimony did not provide any specific details into what classified information may or may not have been shared between Weiner, Abedin, and Clinton, but he did confirm to the world that the FBI had a legitimate reason for reopening its investigation in late October of 2016.
