Sean Hannity pushed back hard last week on a claim made by Debbie Schlussel that he acted inappropriately — Schlussel would later walk back the notion that Hannity sexually harassed her.
In a released statement, the Fox News host said he “retained a team of some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the country who are now in the process of laying out the legal course of action we will be taking against this individual.”
Hannity took to Twitter on Sunday to reinforce his remark about taking legal action, posting a series of cryptic tweets, beginning with one that said he has spent “a lot of time with an army of attorneys.”
Suggesting there’s more to come, he concluded: “Stay tuned.”
When a social media user offered advice on who to go after, Hannity replied: “This is way way way bigger than any one individual.”
Hannity again mentioned meeting with attorneys while linking to White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus saying on ABC’s “This Week” the administration is considering changing libel laws.
He then posted a more mysterious tweet about IP addresses being traceable, saying, “Get Ready.”
When a social media user said, “They’ve effed with the WRONG ombré,” Hannity made another reference to his “massive army,” saying he’s all over this and again promised more to come.
“SOON!!” he tweeted.
Finally, when a social media user suggested “they” are trying to do to Hannity what they did to Bill O’Reilly, who was recently dropped by Fox News following charges of sexual harassment, Hannity offered some details of his army, saying: “They have no idea…”
