Don’t even think about smearing Sean Hannity.
That’s what former Fox News contributor Tamara Holder said while defending Hannity against sexual harassment accusations by a woman named Debbie Schlussel. Schlussel later retracted the claims after Hannity threatened to sue.
Holder is an unlikely defender of Sean Hannity. Why? Because Holder recently received a $2.5 million settlement from Fox News’ parent company, 21st Century Fox, after allegedly being sexually assaulted by former Fox News Latino executive Francisco Cortes in 2015. Cortes has since been fired.
Holder was a Fox News contributor for many years, and often appeared on Sean Hannity’s show. During that time, Holder — an attorney — said Hannity was always a gentleman toward her, so she’s skeptical of Debbie Schlussel’s claims.

“Sean Hannity is a really really good man, probably one of the best men I’ve known in my life,” Holder told LawNewz. “He’s been a mentor to me. I have exchanged thousands of text messages and emails with him over the course of 8 years. Not at any point has he even suggested anything inappropriate.”
Debbie Schlussel, a former Fox News guest, initially claimed that Hannity had made unwanted advances toward her and even invited her once to his hotel. Hannity said Schlussel “is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade.”
Hours later, Schlussel retracted the claims, saying it was a misunderstanding. “I would never accuse him of that,” Schlussel said. “Sexual harassment has a special meaning under the law, and I would never accuse him of that.”
On his show Monday, a fired-up Hannity said there is a vicious leftist war to silence conservative viewpoints, and he will no longer stand by quietly.
“I can no longer let the left’s slander against me slide,” Hannity said. “If there’s any person, any group, any organization, any media outlet that slanders, lies about me, besmirches me, my character, I’m gonna be calling them out. Because at this point, enough is enough.”

Hannity added: “Liberal fascism is alive and well in America today. Everyone who has publicly supported President Trump is a target.”
