‘Iron’ Nikki Haley ‘like a boss’ to UN: ‘If you’re gonna take up for Assad, you need to say it in public’

An impressive U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley continues to kick ass and take names at the United Nations in response to the chemical attack carried out by forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The weak-kneed Security Council was looking to hold a closed session on events in Syria, but Haley resisted, saying the meeting should be held in the open.

“If you’re going to sit there and take up for Assad, you need to say it in public,” Haley told reporters Friday.

Ambassador Haley released a statement further explaining the decision:

“This morning, Bolivia requested an emergency UN Security Council meeting to discuss the events in Syria,” the release said. “It asked for the discussion to be held in closed session. The United States, as president of the Council this month, decided the session would be held in the open. Any country that chooses to defend the atrocities of the Syrian regime will have to do so in full public view, for all the world to hear.”

The reaction on social media showed that the American people can’t get enough of #IronHaley.
