Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz claimed that first daughter Ivanka Trump was fighting women — not fighting for them.
The Florida Democrat, who left her position as Democratic National Committee chairwoman in disgrace last year, made her remarks on CNN’s “OutFront” Thursday.

“OutFront” host Erin Burnett raised the subject.
“When she says she’s fighting for women, she’s going to be attending this conference in Europe this Spring, and when she says she’s working on behalf of women, do you see any evidence of that at this point?” Burnett asked.
“I would say that because of her complicity with her father’s agenda, she’s fighting women, not fighting for women,” Wasserman Schultz answered.
Apparently Wasserman Schultz didn’t catch the first daughter’s speech at the Republican National Convention last July, where Trump espoused views typically advanced by liberals, including maternity benefits and equal pay and opportunity for women.
But Wasserman Schultz probably didn’t notice because she was too busy rigging the Democratic presidential primary in favor of Hillary Clinton.
A lot of good that did.
