Actress Debra Messing is now well-known for being one of Hollywood’s most clueless commentators on all things political. Thursday, the liberal actress was at it again tweeting about Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch and clearly proving she doesn’t have any idea what she is talking about.
Excited after news broke that Devin Nunes was temporarily stepping down from his committee’s Russian probe, Messing celebrated by encouraging her liberal fans to keep the up the “resistance” and “stop” Gorsuch.
Too bad for Messing, but not surprisingly, every part of her Tweet missed the mark.

First of all, she didn’t even spell the judge’s name right. But, how could the “resistance” be “working” when Gorsuch will get confirmed anyway? Further, the Senate was “broken” years ago when Democrat Majority Leader Harry Reid made “nuclear option” change that set this all up in the first place.
Well, Twitter was merciless in its attack on her failure to understand current events.

They aren’t kidding. Another section of Twitter was celebrating Harry Reid’s 2013 nuclear option that has Gorsuch on the fast track to confirmation.

She is also wrong that Rep. Devin Nunes stepping down from his role as head of the House Intelligence Committee in its investigation into Russian interference is some sort of victory for the left because as Nunes stepped down, conservative bulldog Trey Gowdy stepped in.

Ouch!
This is hardly the first time that the actress made herself look uniformed and foolish on Twitter. Only a few months ago the clueless actress sided with the violent protesters at Berkeley and was thrilled that they violated our laws and constitution to shut down Milo Yiannopoulos’ free speech.

Even worse, in January she posted what she thought was a strong message of support for Muslim immigrants by posting a selfie as she sat in her expensive car. The mocking of her empty, narcissistic gesture was incredible.
