The Washington Post headline reads “Two Rockville High students arrested for allegedly raping classmate at school.”
It’s the truth, but not the whole truth.
According to the Post, two ninth-graders – ninth-graders, mind you, who also happen to be 18 and 17 years old – pushed a 14-year-old girl into a boys bathroom and brutally raped her on Thursday morning at Rockville High School.
Their names, revealed by the Post as Henry E. Sanchez and Jose O. Montano, give a strong clue, but it’s not until paragraph nine in the story that we learn that Sanchez, the 18-year-old, is a Guatemalan who only arrived in the United States seven month ago, has an “alien removal” case against him and is a “substantial flight risk,” according to Montgomery County Assistant States Attorney Rebecca MacVittie.

And heaven forbid there be any pictures of the alleged perpetrators on the tweet. I mean, people might get the idea that some illegal immigrants commit serious crimes.
The pair of would-be DREAMers appeared in court on Friday and were held without bond because District Judge Eugene Wolfe considers them a “danger.”
According to police affidavits filed in court and reported by the Post, Montano asked the victim to have sex with him. When she refused, he forced her into a bathroom and, despite resistance, shoved her into a stall where the pair took turns holding her down and sexually assaulting her.
When Sanchez left because of a noise outside the bathroom door, Montano tried to keep the girl quiet by putting his hand over her mouth. She was eventually able to escape and tell a staff member what happened.
Plenty of evidence was found:

Police said both alleged perpetrators were charged with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offense, the Post reports. Both will be charged as adults, but police didn’t release Montano’s mugshot because he is 17.
In a letter to students after the incident, Principal Billie-Jean Benson wrote, “Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment for all of our students is our top priority. Our staff remains vigilant in the monitoring of our school each and every day.”
How about keeping students safe by not enrolling ADULT illegal immigrants in freaking NINTH GRADE?
Or better yet, let’s keep them OUT in the first place. President Trump, that wall can’t come fast enough!
