Like most liberals, Amy Schumer is looking for someone else to blame after poor ratings for her new stand-up special.
“The Leather Special” received hundreds of one-star reviews from subscribers after Netflix debuted Schumer’s new show last week.
The comedian lashed out at the reviewers on her Instagram account Wednesday, blaming “alt-right organized trolls.”
“The alt-right organized trolls attack everything I do. Read the @splitsider article,” Schumer wrote, citing the report from Splitsider that claimed, “when a standup special suddenly gets tanked by hundreds of negative online reviews from supposed ‘fans,’ their legitimacy is probably worth double-checking over on Reddit.”
“They organize to get my ratings down. Meeting in sub Reddit rooms. They tried on my book and movies and TV show,” Schumer continued in her post.
And while liberals cry foul when President Trump calls some media outlets out for reporting “fake news,” Schumer had no problem dissing them for reporting on her show’s reviews.
“I am embarrassed for the ‘journalists’ who report on trolls activities as if it’s news. It’s indicative of administration right now,” she wrote.
She defiantly declared that she feels “so powerful and dangerous and brave” because of the attacks and thanked the so-called trolls.

“It fills me with hope and power to see you all furiously posting so as always accuse me of whatever lies you want,” she said. “Call me a whale. Call me a thief and I will continue to rise and fight and lead. I know who I am. I am strong and beautiful and will use my voice my whole time on this earth.”
Boycotts and personal attacks by the left, trolls or not, on the president and his family are welcomed by liberals claiming the Trump family is fair game. But while they can dish it out, many like Schumer just can’t take it.
“Journalists do better it’s embarrassing,” she concludes her post. “Trolls see you on the next one!”
