The dishonest mainstream press underscored its hypocrisy once again with its media blackout on sexist attacks against conservative women.
Democratic Congressman Cedric Richmond was slammed by liberals and conservatives after making sexually suggestive remarks about President Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway.
During a speech at the Washington Press Club on Wednesday, Richmond said Conway looked “familiar” on her knees, referring to a photo of the mom of 4 sitting on the Oval Office sofa.
“She really looked kind of familiar in that position there,” Richmond said. “And I don’t want you to refer back to the 1990s” (a reference to Monica Lewinsky servicing Bill Clinton in the Oval).
Conway was blasted by liberals for being “inappropriate” for having her feet on the sofa, but the media reframed the incident to make it sexual by bleating that Kellyanne was “on her knees.”
Both Republicans and Democrats, including Chelsea Clinton, condemned Cedric Richmond’s remarks as “despicable,” and said he should apologize. Richmond refused, and denied he meant anything sexual.

Kellyanne later suggested the mainstream media would have body-slammed Richmond if he had directed the insult at a liberal. “Not just if I were a liberal woman, but if I were a pro-abortion one,” she quipped.

But even more glaring than Richmond’s absurd denial is the mainstream media blackout of the shocking remarks. The New York Times, ABC News, NBC News, and MSNBC ignored the incident altogether. Even MSNBC’s outspoken resident feminist, Rachel Maddow, has remained silent.
Fortunately, Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum had the courage to speak out against Richmond when “compassionate” libs refused:

Politico barely touched on the sexist jabs, even though reporter Tim Alberta admitted that if a Republican had such a comment about Obama aide Valerie Jarret, “he’d be run out of town.”
Which is simply to say, yeah, Republicans are justified in their fury at the lack of coverage/outrage
