While media hypes Conway on WH couch charade, Trump makes big move in meeting with black leaders

Democrats cannot have this.

With student enrollment in decline under predecessor Barack Obama, the nation’s first African-American president, President Donald Trump met Monday with dozens of leaders from historically black colleges.

And while Trump’s media adversaries were hesitant to draw attention to the meeting in the Oval Office, the president posted a photo on Twitter touting the occasion:

Where Obama seemingly neglected the schools, Trump sees opportunity.

“The president has a strong commitment to them and understands over the last eight years they’ve been woefully neglected,” White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said, according to McClatchy.

“And I think he wants to really show a commitment. … And so you’ll see, I think, not just a push this month, but in his budget and going forward.”

The president is expected to sign an executive order on Tuesday moving the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities from the Department of Education back to the White House to strengthen the office, which is expected to provide a boost to the schools.

And with all this exciting news happening, what did liberal snowflakes focus on?

…Kellyanne Conway putting her feet on a White House sofa.

That’s right, Conway was taking a photo of the meeting with leaders of black colleges and universities and propped herself on the sofa to get a better shot and social media freaked out.

Seems the incident served for a good distraction from President Trump reaching out to African-American leaders.

Not that the more astute social media users out there are not hip to the game:

Libs are seriously freaking out that Kellyanne had her feet on the couch while this was happening in the Oval
