Disrespectful? Libs go ballistic when Ivanka posts picture of herself seated at Oval Office desk

On Monday, Ivanka Trump was part of a meeting featuring her father, President Trump, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and several prominent female business leaders to discuss an issue she is passionate about, boosting women in business.

After the event, Ivanka posted a picture of herself sitting at the Oval Office desk between both world leaders, her father on her right and Trudeau on her left.

Most normal people, of course, would “get” the cleverness of the First Daughter’s tweet. Seat at the table, right? Ivanka Trump. Female CEOS. Women in business… But as is par for the course these days, the nuance went right over the heads of liberals.

One wonders who would be appalled by Chelsea Clinton in the chair, or maybe Amy Lynn Carter? Time magazine seemed to celebrate the gesture when they posted a photo of Carter at her father’s desk.

Yeah, stay classy libs…

All right Ray, that was actually pretty funny.

According to Daily Mail, the First Daughter welcomed Trudeau and the female entrepreneurs to the White House and contributed to their round table discussion.

“I’m honored to be here and really looking forward to hearing from each of you who serve as tremendous role models for me and so many other business leaders across both of our countries,” she said, “and can lend some tremendously valuable perspective as we think about the unique challenges that entrepreneurs, women in the workforce, female small business owners are confronted with each and every day, and as we think how we level the playing field for this generation and for the next.”

Her father, President Trump, told the group how his daughter had been “very involved” in the new task force, which will be called The United States Canada Council for the Advancement of Women Business Leaders-Female Entrepreneurs, and how much he appreciated her help.

Among the attendees, according to Daily Mail:

Elyse Allan, GE Canada

Dawn Farrell, TransAlta

Monique F. Leroux, Investissement Quebec
