‘A low point in American journalism’: O’Reilly slams media over ‘blatant dishonesty’ of ICE raids reporting

In Monday’s “Talking Points Memo,” Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly railed on the “blatant dishonesty” of the press and the radical left in reacting to coordinated raids by ICE officials targeting illegal aliens who have committed crimes in the Unites States, calling the reporting “disgraceful.”

“We have now reached a low point in American journalism,” the host of “The O’Reilly Factor” said.

O’Reilly played clips of inaccurate comments that reach the level of hysteria from attorney Raul Reyes and Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz.

Chuck Schumer wants to know more about Trump targeting ‘law-abiding innocent’ illegals. Hmmm . . .

“How inhumane this is! To be breaking down people’s doors and separating parents from their children,” Reyes said during an appearance on MSNBC.

“This is Donald Trump really executing his campaign plan,” Gallego said on the same network. ” He’s trying to be a tough guy so he’s going to go after the maids, the moms, the people that are working in the shops instead of going after the hardcore criminals.”

O’Reilly said he could find no headlines in major newspapers “that bannered the fact the raids were targeted at illegal aliens who had committed serious crimes.”

“That’s not press bias, that’s blatant dishonesty,” he insisted.

He also noted that the Trump administration is doing almost exactly what the Obama administration did.

“But the illegal immigration issue has been set up by the media to demonize Mr. Trump as a racist and a brutalizer of the poor,” O’Reilly concluded.

Hillary Clinton has the nerve to troll Mike Flynn, gloats over his resignation

“It is flat-out disgraceful,” he added. “If the federal government cannot remove aliens who commit serious crimes, then we do not have an effective federal government.”
