After two failed presidential bids, Hillary Clinton lives for small victories. Really tiny ones, like Twitter trolling.
Clinton and former aide Philippe Reines gloated over fellow Democrat Michael Flynn‘s resignation as national security advisor.
“Dear Mike Flynn & Mike Flynn Jr, What goes around COMETS around. And given your pizza obsession,” Reines tweeted, along with a link to a Dominos Pizza job listing.
Dear Mike Flynn & Mike Flynn Jr.,
What goes around COMETS around.
And given your pizza obsession…https://t.co/rmyO7wyJKX

Clinton piled on with her own tweet: “Philippe’s got his own way of saying things, but he has a point about the real consequences of fake news.”

The unemployed duo were making a reference to the #PizzaGate conspiracy that triggered one man to charge a Washington, D.C., pizzeria with a rifle.
“PizzaGate” is a theory that Hillary Clinton and her campaign manager John Podesta had operated a child sex ring out of the Comet Ping Pong pizza joint. Clinton and her aides blamed Lieutenant General Michael Flynn for pushing the rumors on Twitter, but the media later admitted this was false.
Flynn abruptly resigned Monday amid rumors he had misled Vice President Mike Pence about a December 2016 phone call with a Russian ambassador. President Trump has since named Lt. General Joseph Keith Kellogg, Jr., as acting national security adviser.
Meanwhile, Twitter reacted to Clinton’s mild Twitter burn, saying it’s too little, too late.
One person noted that while Flynn took responsibility for his actions, Clinton destroyed evidence.
