CNN’s Jake Tapper lashed out at President Trump’s senior counselor Kellyanne Conway in a heated 25-minute interview.
Proving once again that he’s not a journalist but a commentator, Tapper spent most of the time defending his employer after Trump dismissed the leftist network as “fake news.”
“Are we fake news, Kellyanne?” an unhinged Tapper spat. “Is CNN fake news?!”
Like a mom calming a child throwing a tantrum, Conway replied: “I don’t think CNN is fake news.”

But Kellyanne said CNN and other mainstream media gloss over Islamic terrorist attacks and spend much of their time trying to undermine Trump with “gotcha” rumors.
“There seems to be some coverage these days … that somehow terrorism is not a big problem, or somehow national security is all taken care of and that’s just not true,” she said.
The hostile Tapper also falsely claimed that President Trump said CNN did not cover the recent tsunami of Islamic terrorist attacks. That is blatantly false.
What Trump said was that mainstream media under-reports terrorist attacks because they’re deathly afraid of being called Islamophobic.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer agreed, saying mainstream media like CNN give wall-to-wall coverage to anti-Trump protests and bogus hate crimes while ignoring violent attacks against Trump supporters and the growing threat of radical Islamic terrorism.
“Protests get blown out of the water and yet an attack or a foiled attack doesn’t necessarily get the same coverage,” Spicer said.
