Has the Super Bowl been ‘Trumped?’ Will liberal football fans be furious if the Patriots dominate?

This Sunday’s NFL Super Bowl is more than the New England Patriots versus the Atlanta Falcons.

It has become Team President Donald Trump versus everyone else.

Many Patriots insiders have made their affection for the president known time and time again.

In Sept. 2015 a reporter spotted a “Make America Great Again” hat in Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady’s locker.

This week Brady resisted calls by leftists to denounce his friendship with the president.

When the Patriots won their most recent Super Bowl, the star quarterback did not go to the White House to meet President Obama.

Team owner Robert Kraft also came under fire after he revealed how President Trump helped get him through one of the toughest patches of his life.

“In the toughest time in my life, he was there for me when my beloved wife died five and half years ago,” he told Fox News. “He came to the funeral with Melania. He visited me at my home memorial. He called me once a week for a year.”

In March Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and his wife shared a picture to Instagram posing with their “good friend” President Trump in March.

The president himself spoke on the friendship he has with the team to the New York Times this week.

“He’s a good friend of mine,” the president said of Brady, who he has frequently golfed with. “A really good friend of mine.”

“You know, Bob Kraft is also one of my best friends,” he added.

“I go to the Patriots game last year,” the president said. “I’m on the sidelines with Kraft. He’s got Les Moonves right here. He’s got a lot of different people. And Belichick comes over in his Patriots sweatshirt and the hoodie and the whole thing. He hugs me, and he kisses me, and he said: ‘I love you. You’re the greatest.’”

A recent survey that showed the majority of Americans are cheering for the Falcons in the Super Bowl.
