Undeterred by protesters, President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump attended the 60th annual Red Cross at the Mar-a-lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
The president briefly addressed reporters about the ongoing legal battle regarding his immigration ban before he entered the event.
“We’ll win,” the president said. “For the safety of the country, we’ll win.”

Attendees and media shared photos and footage of the luxurious gala on social media, that had a theme of “Vienna to Versailles.” And guest dressed the part.
Event attendees were greeted by protesters when they arrived earlier in the day, but they were cleared out before the president and first lady arrived, according to the Palm Beach Post.
