Hey white people, gimme your money.
That’s the rallying call to white America from Georgetown University professor Michael Eric Dyson. Dyson, who has repeatedly berated whites over their “white privilege,” said whites should compensate blacks for slavery and decades of oppression.
Leftists constantly bleat that you can’t blame all Muslims for Islamic terrorism, but you can blame all whites for slavery and racism. Meanwhile, Arabs in Muslim countries have owned black slaves for centuries, and liberals say nothing about it.

In the United States, only a small percentage of wealthy Southerners owned slaves; the poor ones did not. And almost all Northern states did not have slavery. Let that sink in.
Dyson told Fox News host Tucker Carlson that whites should consider opening “individual reparation accounts” to repay blacks for slavery and other social injustices. Carlson said he’s all for charity, but he doesn’t believe in “collective guilt.”
“What I don’t believe in is collective guilt,” Carlson said. “That’s why I’m confused by the phrase ‘white privilege.’”
Dyson, a race-baiting clown who demonizes white people and paints all African-Americans as victims, said privilege comes with responsibility.
In other words, if you’re privileged enough to be white, you should pay up. “White privilege doesn’t suggest guilt, it suggests responsibility and accountability,” Dyson said.
Carlson then reminded Dyson that he is far more privileged than most white Americans, so why should they pay him?

“I’m privileged, and I wouldn’t deny that,” Carlson said. “But you’re privileged too. We live near each other, nice neighborhood. You’re rich, you went to an Ivy League school like me. And so you are way more privileged than most white Americans. So why would they owe you something?”
Dyson forgot that there are longstanding government schemes in place to help African-Americans: Affirmative action and social welfare programs.
According to a recent Princeton University study, African Americans receive a “bonus” of 230 points when being considered for college admission.
This means that admissions officers are told to mentally add 230 points to a black applicant’s SAT scores when considering him for admission, to help make up for any social injustices that may have contributed to his lower test scores.
Meanwhile, there are countless immigrants who manage to earn perfect SAT scores even though English is not their first language.
But when was the last time the NBA enacted an affirmative action policy to recruit short, unathletic people? Oh yeah — never.
