Chelsea Clinton didn’t think things through; tragically tries to take on Conway for ‘Bowling Green’ gaffe

Chelsea Clinton chimed in on the left’s “controversy du jour” and went after Kellyanne Conway for a verbal gaffe she made on Thursday.

Conway told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews that the media did not report on the “Bowling Green Massacre,” and President Obama’s subsequent ban on travellers from Iraq.

“I bet it’s brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre. It didn’t get covered,” she said.

But there never was a “Bowling Green Massacre” and the left piled on Conway for making up an attack to justify the president’s temporary pause on bringing in migrants from seven majority Muslim nations.

Conway explained on Friday that she misspoke and meant to say “terrorists” and not “massacre.”

Conway continued to stick up for herself, saying no one had reached out to her, to clarify:

That didn’t stop Clinton from taking a swipe. And the former first daughter used an attempted Paris terrorist attack that occured hours before to do it.

Really tragic example she gave there, because Conway and others didn’t fail to notice …

Conway, not one to miss a beat, made sure to chime in with a one-two punch:
