Just when you thought the candidates for the chair of the Democratic National Committee couldn’t get nuttier or further to the left, they just got nuttier and further to the left.

Candidate Sally Boynton Brown defined her job as “shutting other White people down” if elected DNC chairwoman.
“Black lives matter, and it makes me sad that we’re even having that conversation, and that tells me that white leaders in our party have failed,” she said at a DNC candidate forum.

Rep. Keith Ellison, another candidate for DNC chair, once defended the anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. Although the Minnesota Democrat claims to now regret that endorsement, the Anti-Defamation League has called comments Ellison made since then about Israel “Deeply Disturbing” and “Disqualifying.”
