President Obama’s senior advisor Valerie Jarrett got a civics lesson from conservative pundit Charles C. W. Cooke on thursday.
Jarrett tweeted a photo of herself standing on the White House property and stated that after President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Friday she will once again be a citizen.
Taking my last walk around the grounds. Will be watching from outside the gate after tomorrow as a citizen. pic.twitter.com/U1RymmK34w

Does she not know that she has been a citizen the entire time?
In case she didn’t, Cooke informed her.
You’ve always been a citizen. https://t.co/IAzYGsQ6d1

@vj44 you were always a citizen. Working in the White House doesn’t make you a royal.

@vj44 You were never elected to anything, nor in the military, you’ve always been just a citizen

@vj44 Of course you think your role has somehow elevated you above the status of citizen.

@vj44 What did you think you were these past 8 years if not a citizen with a government job?

@vj44 You were always a citizen and it’s kind of telling that you thought of yourself as more.

@vj44 No! Wait. A “citizen”? One of us regular, working class, tax paying little folk? How will you survive? Go Fund Valerie Jarrett. Quick.
