Donald Trump has friends in high places who totally have his back.
Trump’s longtime pal, billionaire Steve Wynn, removed all Tom Ford cosmetics and sunglasses from the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel after the fashion designer dissed Melania Trump. The hotel does not carry Tom Ford clothing, but undoubtedly would have removed those too if it did.
Ford refuses to dress Melania and had claimed that he had once turned down her request to design an outfit. Donald Trump fired back in a Fox News interview, saying Melania never asked Ford to dress her.

Trump also said neither he nor Melania like Tom Ford’s designs. “He was never asked to dress [Melania],” Trump said (the video gets stuck at :03 seconds, so skip over it).
“She never asked Tom Ford, doesn’t like his designs. I’m not a fan of Tom Ford, never have been.”

The Wynn Las Vegas confirmed to the Daily Mail what Trump said, that it had removed the Tom Ford line of sunglasses and cosmetics lines from their resort and released a statement.
Ford made headlines in December 2016 after saying he will not dress Melania because his clothes are too expensive. “She’s not necessarily my image,” he said.
Ford added that he wouldn’t have dressed Hillary Clinton either, even though he voted for her, because his clothes are too high-end for people in public service.
“Even had Hillary won, she shouldn’t be wearing my clothes,” Ford said. “They’re too expensive. I think to relate to everybody, you shouldn’t necessarily [wear such expensive clothes].”
Ford obviously forgot that former model Melania Trump is married to a billionaire and is used to wearing expensive clothes.
When reminded that Ford once designed a dress for Michelle Obama, he said that was OK. “That, I thought, was appropriate,” said Ford. “It was an honor.”
Fashion icon Ralph Lauren (also a Clinton supporter) designed Melania’s elegant sky-blue inauguration dress.
Melania previously wore a $4,000 one-shoulder Ralph Lauren jumpsuit on Election Night.
While liberal mainstream media claims NO ONE wants to dress Melania, fashion insiders say a long list of top designers — including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Zac Posen, Zang Toi, Diane von Furstenberg and Carolina Herrera — would be thrilled to.
Besides, Twitter reminded everyone that “Melania needs no help” to look fabulous.
