Ivanka Trump celebrated moving day for her family with a cake honoring her father and photos of the packing.
The future first daughter posted photos on her Instagram account sharing some of the preparations as she embarks on relocating to Washington D.C. with husband Jared Kushner and their three children.
With only days until President-elect Donald Trump takes the oath of office, his daughter posed in front an elaborate cake representing the White House and “President Trump” figure.
“Now this is a cake! The whole office is incredibly excited about the upcoming inauguration and 45th Presidency but will miss @realdonaldtrump come Friday!” she captioned the photo.
Her five-year-old daughter Arabella was enlisted as a “packing buddy” as movers unloaded boxes into the family’s new home in the nation’s capital on Tuesday.
The family’s new six bedroom home is in Kalorama, reportedly just blocks away from where the Obama family will be relocating after Friday’s inauguration of Trump.

Ivanka, 35, announced last week that she would be stepping down from running her clothing and accessories brand as well as taking a formal leave of absence from The Trump Organization.
“My husband, Jared, and I will be moving with our family to Washington, D.C., where Jared will serve as Senior Advisor to the President. I plan to take time to settle our three young children into their new home and schools,” she wrote in a post on Facebook.
