Apparently, having marched with Martin Luther King doesn’t mean you’re not lying if your mouth is moving, especially if you’re a liberal politician with an ax to grind.
Enter Georgia Rep. John Lewis, whose high-profile feud with Donald Trump has ignited headlines, and raised Lewis’ profile, for days. On Sunday, he told Meet the Press host Chuck Todd that, because of supposed Russian hacking, he didn’t consider Trump “a legitimate president.”
He also said this:
“I think the Russians participated in helping get this man elected. And they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. I don’t plan to attend the inauguration. It will be the first one that I miss since I’ve been in the Congress. You cannot be at home with something that you feel is wrong.”
No, not the Russian hacking part. That’s just a red herring. How about where Lewis said this would be the “first one that I miss since I’ve been in the Congress?”

As far as lie catching goes, this one is about as red-handed as they come.
