Sounding like a herd of hyenas, a group of liberal protesters staged a cough-in at the Trump International Hotel and Tower restaurant Sunday to denounce the likely repeal of Obamacare.
On the same day The Washington Post published an interview with Donald Trump, where the president-elect said the GOP replacement plan will offer affordable health “insurance for everybody,” about 15 “health care advocates” interrupted lunch at the restaurant, according to the New York Daily News.
The liberals hacked away as they loudly feigned clearing their throats, before holding up signs, to include one that read: “We Need Obamacare.”
…a determination that doesn’t seem to take into account the overwhelming number of Americans who want to see the failed health care law repealed.
The cough-in protest was the handiwork of a group called Rise and Resist, the Daily News reported.
And even though they’ve yet to see the first detail of any replacement plan being put forth by Trump, some of the signs declared, “Trumpcare Makes Us Sick.”
