‘Really?’ Tucker can’t grasp Dem Rep’s weak answer on Obamacare and he lets him know it

In a continuation of what is proving to be a popular format, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson squared off with a Democratic lawmaker over President Barack Obama’s signature health care law.

With the GOP making it clear on the first day of the 115th Congress that taking on Obamacare will be “the first order of business,” U.S. Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn., appeared on Carlson’s show Wednesday to defend the “flawed piece of legislation,” as the host described the Affordable Care Act.

Carlson said Obamacare has some good aspects to it, but noted that the American people have simply not embraced it.

Himes countered that people “love” the “five or six things that are core to Obamacare,” before saying, “The problem is, of course, for seven years they have been told it’s evil.”

The comment drew a chuckle from Carlson, who wasn’t about to let Himes’ assertion that the nation does not like Obamacare because of Republican propaganda go unchallenged.

“Is that really your argument?” he asked. “That people don’t love it because they’ve been lied to?”

Carlson went on to smack the Democrat right between the eyes with the harsh reality that “people are experiencing Obamacare.”
