Donald Trump took another jab at liberal mainstream media and had fun doing it.
The president-elect mocked CNN and NBC over their gullible coverage of the purported new Cold War between the United States and Russia.
Trump said Russia is playing “CNN and NBC for such fools,” but praised Fox News because they “totally get it.”
Trump sent the tweet shortly after Russia announced it would not retaliate against the U.S. for ejecting Russian diplomats from the country and imposing other sanctions.
Many political pundits and observers slammed President Obama for his toothless sanctions and wondered why he waited so long to act if he has proof (as he claims) that they had interfered with the U.S. election through cyberattacks.
Ever since Hillary Clinton lost, liberal media outlets CNN, NBC and MSNBC have run hysteria-inducing stories around the clock claiming Russia swayed the election. In contrast, Fox News has expressed skepticism that Russia “hacked” the election, saying we need to see concrete evidence before jumping to conclusions.

OMG, our democracy has been hacked!

MSM has repeatedly blasted Trump as a stooge of Vladimir Putin simply because he refused to publicly insult the Russian president as a thug and accuse him of rigging the election.
These critics don’t seem to realize that unlike outgoing Obama, Trump actually has to work with Putin for the next 4 years, so it’s not in his (or the country’s) best interest to antagonize Putin before he even takes office.
This outgoing Admin is starting to remind me of Saddam Hussein lighting oil wells on fire on his way out of Kuwait.

The liberal media hysteria is probably why incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Trump may replace White House press conferences with Twitter chats and Facebook town halls, in a bid to cut out biased media filtering of the news.
In response to the media’s decision to act as judge, jury and executioner concerning Russia, Trump said he will weigh all the evidence first — which neither Obama nor the media have presented — before drawing a conclusion.
Meanwhile, Putin won the week when he reacted to Obama’s sanctions by doing the opposite of what a thug would do: He sent warm New Year’s wishes to Obama and Trump, and invited the children of U.S. diplomats to a party at the Kremlin.

It looks like Obama — who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 before accomplishing a single thing — could take a few lessons in diplomacy from Putin.
