San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick won an award despite his dismal performance this season, thanks to leftist crybabies.
In a surprise move, the 49ers awarded Kaepernick the Len Eshmont Award, the most prestigious honor handed out by the franchise.
The award, which was voted on by the team, is given to the player “who best exemplifies the inspirational and courageous play of Len Eshmont, an original member of the 1946 49ers team.”

The 49ers did not explain why Kaepernick won the award because it certainly had nothing to do with football since he lost his first 9 starts this season. The 49ers have a pathetic 2-13 record this year.
The award follows months of controversy after Kaepernick refused to stand during the singing of the national anthem. Kaepernick, a vocal supporter of Black Lives Matter, claimed he was protesting the racial oppression of African-Americans.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL.com in August 2016.
Meanwhile, “oppressed minority” Colin Kaepernick was signed to a 6-year, $114 million contract with the 49ers in 2014. He is guaranteed a payment of $61 million no matter how badly he performs.

Not surprisingly, the backlash on Twitter was immediate and emotional.
Many wondered what “courage” Kaepernick exhibited by disrespecting the American anthem.
lol, Colin Kaepernick showed "inspirational courage"? WTF

I lost all faith in this dumpster fire organization when I learned that @Kaepernick7 won this award. What a disgrace.

you have got to be kidding. Are these #participationtrophies ?

Others said this bogus award was the final straw, and they will no longer support the 49ers.
I think this is sad. I have lost all respect for the 49er'ss and think they should have canceled his contract.

It’s not just disappointed NFL fans who are upset with Colin Kaepernick’s unpatriotic actions. ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith slammed the quarterback for not voting this election cycle, saying he “betrayed his cause.”
“As far as I am concerned, Colin Kaepernick is absolutely irrelevant … I don’t wanna hear a damn word about anything he say to say about our nation — the issues that we have, racial injustices, needing change, etc, etc. He comes across as a flaming hypocrite.
After all this noise that you made, even though you didn’t intend to do so by offending our military servicemen and women…to turn around and not to even take your behind to the polls to vote for a particular candidate — it is shameful! Absolutely shameful!”
