Tom Arnold wants you to know ‘Watergate level’ reporters are onto the Trump ‘Apprentice’ tapes

On December 16, actor and attention-seeking publicity hound Tom Arnold went on Dori Morrison’s KIRO radio show with a bombshell claim – that he was actually in possession of a set of outtakes from Donald Trump’s “Apprentice” days showing the president-elect making racial slurs and other offensive remarks.

A couple of the reasons why these tapes supposedly haven’t been released yet is the threat of lawsuits and, according to Arnold, “Because when the people sent it to me, it was funny. Hundreds of people have seen these. It was sort of a Christmas video they put together. He wasn’t going to be president of the United States. It was him sitting in that chair saying the N-word, saying the C-word, calling his son a retard, just being so mean to his own children.”

Trump responds: ‘Obama said that he thinks he would have won against me, I say . . . ‘

This does not, of course, stand to reason for a variety of reasons. If hundreds of people have seen them, why aren’t those people coming out? And is “it was funny” a legitimate reason to withhold anything that could possibly make a difference in a tight campaign, especially if you’re against Donald Trump’s White House bid? Sure, Arnold claims now that it wouldn’t have made a difference, but it’s doubtful he himself even believes that. After all, the “Access Hollywood” tapes ended up hurting Trump in the polls and being a significant sore spot during the campaign.

Arnold even claims the Trump campaign has threatened a defamation suit, but the True Lies star isn’t afraid of that, apparently, because “it’s on.”

Vaults? Who needs vaults? I thought Arnold actually had the tapes in his possession?

No, reason actually points to the ever quirky Arnold being full of hot air, and naturally the comedian is being asked to essentially “put up or shut up.”

In response to actor Michael Rapaport’s challenge, Arnold sent out a series of 14 tweets explaining what would need to take place for the tapes to be released, other than Arnold just releasing what he has already said he has in his possession.

So, Arnold doesn’t have the tapes he originally said he had, but these “7 powerful Hollywood big shots,” which Arnold declines to name, do, but “Watergate level journalists” are seeing that they eventually come to light.
