Talk about a yuletide blunder…
The Catholic Joy to the World ceremony included the lyrics to the late rapper Tupac Shakur’s “Hail Mary” on the back of a song sheet, according to the New York Daily News.
During the event held earlier this month at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, audience members were treated to the crude thug-life driven lyrics from the rapper in the handout instead of “The Hail Mary Prayer.”
Here’s a snapshot of the lyrics: “When they turn out the lights, I’ll be down in the dark. Thuggin’ eternal through my heart, now Hail Mary…”

Accident or not, those with an affinity for the thug live found a little extra Christmas joy in the incident.
