Actress Olivia Wilde doesn’t want to take any chances on looking like Melania Trump.
Wilde made a big to-do over her hair change to make sure everyone knew her Melania-like locks were gone.
Well, sort of gone.
In a post to Instagram on Tuesday the “House” actress wrote that she cut her hair to distance herself from America’s next first lady with the hashtag #nomoremelaniahair.
Wilde, who was a staunch supporter of Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton, showed off the new hairdo at a New York Nets basketball game on Thursday.

The actual cut was a lot less dramatic than her political shenanigans.
The actress is one of many celebrities who are still having a temper tantrum over the election. One concert promoter is even getting performers together and financing to have a concert that is planned to compete with Trump’s Inauguration.
It’s not clear if Wilde will be at the concert, but she made no secret during the campaign that she was on Team Hillary.
A sampling of some of her social media posts shows that Wilde has had a tough time dealing with the results of the election.
Here she must be with her “Melania” hair.
Post-election and obviously shell-shocked (yes, there’s a whole country between LA and NYC) Wilde turned up the drama:
If we ever thought we had the luxury of NOT living every single day of our lives as activists for peace and justice, this is a wake up call.

Any other women feeling inspired to do some self-defense training? Not a joke. The bullies are feeling empowered. Protect yourselves.

Fellow Americans, we are not defined by our narrow-minded president elect. If you witness discrimination, stand up and demand justice.

She’s an actress for a reason, folks.
