President-elect Donald Trump called for the United States to expand its nuclear arsenal until the “world comes to its senses.”
“The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes,” he said Thursday in a post on Twitter.

Trump’s tweet followed statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin made the same day about reinforcing his country’s military nuclear potential.
I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Putin also announced he wants to expand Russia’s nuclear program.
