Conway announces why she’s moving to D.C., turns out Trump’s right-hand man…will be a woman

Trump will be getting much of his most crucial advice from the woman who helped launch him to victory.

President-elect Donald Trump‘s transition team announced in a statement Thursday former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway has been tagged to serve as counselor to the president when he takes office on January 20, 2017.

Trump acknowledged in the statement that Conway “played a crucial role in my victory.”

“She is a tireless and tenacious advocate of my agenda and has amazing insights on how to effectively communicate our message,” the president-elect added.

Conway appeared on Fox & Friends to say it was an honor” and “very humbling” serving at a senior level for the president.

“It’s difficult to pass that up,” she said.

Conway teased TMZ Thursday that she was moving to D.C. but didn’t give details.

Today is a different story and a quick scan of social media to gauge the reaction shows that, other than haters hating, folks are thrilled that Conway will have a key role in the incoming administration, given her success during the campaign.
