MSNBC host Joe Scarborough has been all over the map when it comes to Donald Trump, and his station has generally come down on the liberal side of issues, but the former Republican Congressman turned TV commentator and his panel had to give the President-elect his due on the issue of pointing out liberal hypocrisy regarding Monday’s Electoral College vote.
In a discussion about threats Electors had been receiving from liberals hoping to compel them to switch their vote from the will of the people in their state, the topic of a particularly compelling Tweet from Donald Trump came up.
If my many supporters acted and threatened people like those who lost the election are doing, they would be scorned & called terrible names!

The “Morning Joe” panel, which included “Game Change” author Mark Halperin, agreed completely with Trump.
“That’s the truest Trump tweet I think ever … This will be a divisive day rather than a day where we have a constitutionally mandated moment … that people who voted for Trump will be very happy about,” said Halperin. “It’s great for people to try to speak out and try to affect the electors, that’s their constitutional right. But to threaten violence or make claims about their responsibilities…”
Panelist Mark Barnicle agreed: “In terms of the accuracy if Trump supporters had done this and Hillary Clinton had won, I mean … we in the media would continue to be crushing his supporters, which were widely misread prior to the election.”
Has hell indeed frozen over? For once, an entire panel on MSNBC actually seemed to agree with Donald Trump!
