President-elect Trump greeted by Southern belles in Alabama, and you know what that means . . .

One not-so-bright race-baiter was happy to stir the pot.

When Donald Trump’s aircraft touched down in Mobile, Alabama Saturday on the latest stop of his “thank you tour,” he was greeted by a bevy of young ladies dressed as antebellum southern belles.

The ladies, who hailed from the Azalea Trail Maids, wore costumes in pastel shades of purple, blue, yellow, pink and green, The Hill reported.

The group consists of Mobile-area high school seniors who serve as ambassadors for distinguished guests visiting the Azalea City.

One observer with an axe to grind claimed that the girls were all “daughters of plantation owners.”

Thankfully, there were a few higher-minded tweeters in the bunch.

And “Confucius” was rightfully shot down.

Also on hand to greet the president-elect was longtime Trump supporter Sen. Jeff Sessions, his pick for attorney general.

Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley, a Republican, was also on hand at the tarmac as Trump’s plane, dubbed Trump Force One, touched down, as were nearly a dozen law enforcement families.
