Marine dad in Santa suit surprises son at school, response would tug at Scrooge’s heart

A young Virginia boy saw his wish to Santa granted right before his eyes.

Ol’ Saint Nick paid a visit to Widewater Elementary School and student Jackson Rescott told the jolly fat man that he wanted two things for Christmas: An XBOX One and “to see my dad,” Fox News reported.

His father, David Rescott, is a U.S. Marine deployed to Kuwait who was not due home until next month.

…but little did Jackson know that his father was home earlier AND playing the role of classroom Santa!

“I have a bit of Christmas magic for you,” he told the boy, as he began to reveal himself piece by piece.

The shock on Jackson’s face is priceless, and the father-son hug that followed would even tug a Scrooge’s heart.
