Fed-up Tucker cuts off prof who can’t back his own ‘substantial evidence’ claim that Russia stole election

Fox News host Tucker Carlson took on a college professor’s statement that “there is substantial evidence that Russia stole the election for Donald Trump.”

Milksops College history Prof. Robert McElvaine made his claim in a recent piece in The Huffington Post, but when questioned by Carlson, was unable to back it up.

Carlson repeatedly asked the Jackson, Mississippi professor for evidence that Russia stole the presidential election — but couldn’t.

He admitted that there was no evidence that Russia had altered voting machines in any way, but claimed that “Hillary Clinton won by 2.8 million votes in the real vote,” and added that emails released by WikiLeaks were enough to influence the electorate in the traditionally Democratic rust belt.

So what’s the Russian connection, Carlson wanted to know.

McElvaine ignored the question, while insisting that he was answering it by saying that emails from the Democratic National Committee and former Clinton campaign chairman John Pedestal published by WikiLeaks led to Clinton’s defeat.

The history professor did admit, however, that all of the information published by WikiLeaks was factual.

After nearly seven minutes of going around in circles, Carlson gave McElvaine one last chance to prove that Russia had anything to do with the leaked emails. When he couldn’t, the Fox News host closed the interview.

“I’m going to stop you there. You’re saying irresponsible things and misleading people and I think it’s wrong,” he said.

“Robert, I’m cutting you off,” Carlson added. “I gave you a chance and you refused to be real with me.”

An associate of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange recently revealed that the information gleaned from the DNC wasn’t hacked — by Russia or anyone else — but was rather leaked.

Nonetheless, the left continues with its latest mantra that it’s all Russia’s fault.
