Nancy Pelosi, can we talk? Michelle Malkin also has concerns about the HUD Secretary’s ‘qualifications’

Led by Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Democrats quickly jumped on President-elect Donald Trump’s selection of Ben Carson for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, but leave it to conservative firebrand Michelle Malkin to put things into perspective.

In an attack that has been called racist — oh, how the tables have turned — Pelosi released a statement Monday saying the country “deserves a HUD Secretary with the relevant experience,” calling Carson “a disturbingly unqualified choice.”

Turning to Twitter, Malkin reminded Democrats about “qualifications,” or the lack thereof, by pointing to current HUD Secretary Julián Castro. Malkin linked to a Politico story about how the former San Antonio mayor came under fire when his city failed to properly spend funds approved by Congress in response to the housing crisis.
